well my clutch friggin gave out on me, now its sittin in some apartment complex waitin to get towed by AAA. theyre gonna tow it here to my house and i guess on monday ill tell mazda about it. do you guys know if the clutch is covored under warranty?

ok ill take boost controller off first. i only had 11,000 miles on it, yea it my fault i guess, i did alotta racing....couldnt help it. but now im hatin myself for racing too much

you know what t3ase, now that u mention it, i do have mazda roadside assistance..but i completely forgot bout that lol. o well, the tow truck just arrived at my house and dropped it off. phew, step 1 is done. ill call mazda on monday, i just hope it doesnt take them forever and a day to fix it.

i know im stupid for racing as much as i did, but damn its fun-especcially when you win

My clutch went out at 12k miles, too. Don't worry about it... If they won't cover it (it took me a few days of arguing to get them to cover mine) then get an ACT.

yes. the clutch is a wearable item and therefore not covered under warranty unless its found to be a manufacturers defect. if tease was able to convince them he wasnt boosting 14psi, i guess lol

Clutches are tough- they'll try not to cover it since its usually pretty apparent you're beating a car when the clutch wears out at 11k. I've never had one go before 50-60k on me before. I drive pretty hard, but I try to take it easy on the clutch.

Good luck, though. Hope they take care of it for you. If not, do go aftermarket or you'll be putting another in after 10k more.
