No more 4/50K warranty!?

Dealer told me that 07+ now have a 3/36 warranty. (notcool)

Mazda's website said the same but claimed a 5/60K powertrain.

Is the pre-07's just a flat 4/50 with no additional powertrain coverage?

yeah you missed teh memo

starting the '06 model year (i think), mazda's bumper to bumper reverted back to 3/36k miles, but adds a 5/60k powertrain warranty, so yeah...

Started after MY06, as we have 4/50 across the board on our 5. Not happy about the change; probably a way to raise prices without raising prices.

Yes, I noted that on the web site.

I still got the 4yr/50K on my 06. Initially set to start Aug 2005 (when bought), but reset to start in Dec 2005 (or some time around there not sure) as part of very HOT exhaust recall (flame).
