My brother in law is a master tech on them, he was told the same thing.. they are tryin to find a solution to the engine stalling/wont start after not letting the car warm up.. some s*** like that..

At least someone else has heard it from a tech. I'm not saying I want it to happen. In fact I wish they did have a fix for all the problems (*cough*v6*cough* ). It's unfortunate that Mazda's rotary is again getting a bad rap for reliability issues.

The '05s aren't that bad as long as the owner knows what they're doing. Anal retentive Consumer Reports even recommended it over the 350z.

The new 06's come with a set of spark plugs in the glove compartment. We are supposed to change them within 3 days of the customer picking the car up. Should help out on alot of the problem right there.

My niece just got her first car, it's an RX-8, but I don't know what year. Probably an 05 or 06 - my 350z is a bit faster, but the way that rotary spins through it's rpm's really makes it a blast to drive.

No link CR is a pay site, but look it up in the buyers guide. Most grocery stores etc sell it.

you should see 06's soon, if not already, the biggest giveaway is the key, next would be that the ones with leather seats have FULL leather on the whole seat....not just in the center with the ribbed plastic on the sides.

I saw a killer 06 Shinka in copper red. It was perty. We were thinking to buy it but the Mustang's resale value is horrible. How can a $27k car with 7k miles on it drop to $13k in 2 years? No more american cars after this. My mom and I made a vow. Now it's all Japanese and hopefully more specifically Mazdas.
