nitrous for the intercooler?

not bad at all, wish I had a place to do that fab work, haha. i mean maybe i could find something but it would have to be through a string of contacts, bleh!
 
somewhat along the same lines is anyone douing water methanal injection??? that would be more efective then spraying the IC.
 
when nitrous is sprayed on the intercooler, its cools the intake charge.

my future mods include this:

a 35-50 size jet, with the purge over my FMIC. So not only will i have a direct shot of nitrous, i will also purge (spray) the FMIC to cool the intake charge !!!

my plans are big turbo in the future FYI ...

nitrous = faster spool !!!

good luck with that !! i'm not sure how to go about that on this car ???
try running a wet kit on a 1600psi fuel system !!??
or run dry nitrous on a turbo motor (screwy)
i used to have a probe gt with nitrous and man was it sick !!
i would love it on the ms3 ....but will it work well ??

yeah I was scratching my head on that too , with direct injection the fuel pressures are unreal like no other car I have ever worked on so I would do my homework on that ,good luck.

Hey, do you have a way to measure the intake manifold temperature? I'd be interested in the differential temperature from ambient temp to intake manifold temp at say 60 MPH. Then throw the TMIC on and re-measure. Would help us junkies who are interested in a FMIC.

You could always go with a standalone fuel system for the nitrous. Get a small fuel cell with a walbro pump and regulator, then set up the nitrous with the new tank.
 
i dunno about you guys but when i go to the track im just gunna tape some ice cubes to my tmic...
 
screw it , just get a manual boost control raise it to about 20 psi or so and stick some 109 racing fuel and watch er rip.........apart. on a serious note ..anyone has contemplated using header wraps or perhaps an external oil cooler , cheap and might be worth it.
 
Cashmere...do those IC pipes hook up to the stock turbo or do you have an aftermarket terdbow??
