NICE installed

Oh I see, thanks guys....... basically I was hoping that I could hook that setup to the factory head unit and put a DVD into that, and play from there.......apparently not, so I'd have to have a separate player hooked up in the glove compartment....... do you think this would still fit into the storage unit if I were to use one of those gauge pod mounts (the ones with 3 pod mounts) over the storage unit?

It has a composite input. So so long as you have an external source (DVD player, Play station, Video Ipod etc.) it should work.

The newer version (smaller screen) allows you to play video right from the internal hard drive. The version I got only allows the hard disk to be used for photo's and MP3.

Hope that helps.

Koenig, the unit doesn't have any sort of CD/DVD player in it...it is just a screen. Not sure if you knew that. The input can most likely play any sort of video that is composite (the single yellow RCA connector). That means you can hook up a stand-alone DVD player, an XBOX, or whatever.

I noticed the NAV said Lancaster PA. Thats an hour from me. Were you on a road trip to visit the amish or was that just coincidental?

I actually live near NYC. I'm in Lancaster for work. I will be here for another month or so. I travel back home for the weekends. Let me know if you want to hook up and get a bite to eat sometime.

Nice, see any Amish yet? I'd recomend hitting up Carrabas out there if you have never ate at one and like italian food. Yum
