Well I didn't know this when I played. But thoses lame outrun races actually unlock stuff. I know you have to beat X number of those in some stage of the game to unlock the widebody kits. It's near the end.

i think if you pause the game or hit select or down(s*** i dont know which one off the top of my head)it tells you what stage you are in and and all sorts of other stats.

PS2, hit the down button and move right throught the menu. It will say, EG.. 54% Complete stage 5...

tru dat. the audi has been a beast for me. however the handling of the skyline is great for UL races.
