My Dad used to have a 1998 Grand Prix GTP, and I tell ya, I laid stripe like 40ft long with that thing all day long. It had like a 280HP 3.8L Supercharged engine... Fucken hauled ass.

That's it. But he had some s*** like a Ram Air Kit from SLP and something else. I can't remember. He sold it for a Vette. It was a bleack on black 4 door with the polished wheels, and this thing always looked ******* mint. I remember you could get the same model year awhite 2 door with matching white wheels. I had a hard on for that one, but he went for the black instead.jebus said:

Put $500 into a GTP and you can run 13's. A guy I know in Columbus has a full interior, full daily driven GTP that runs 10's, although he's done a bunch to it. GTP's are no slouch.

The 3800 V6 SC is my all-time favorite 6-cyl. Period.
As someone said, put an exhaust, a smaller pulley (or get the interchangeable set for 6-minute switches), and replace the stock intake, and you are F-L-Y-I-N-G.
I drove a 92 Olds Delta 88 Royale with that motor. Front wheel drive. My god, it handled like a land yacht, but it laid rubber for days.
