Next Statewide meet suggestions...

I was hinting it at motegi but yea if the next meet is too far for me to drive then i will ask for a ride.
Honestly guys... I think if we're gonna do Gasparilla... lets just do Gasparilla. as for the next meet... I think we should move it closer to the southern people.
I cant remember exactly where... but with FocalJet... we had a KILLER meet down at some park in Ft Lauderdale (i think thats where it was?)

we had a good 40+ cars and the meet was covered by Makes & models mag!
Im thinkin that since the last meet was onlt somewhat north of Tampa/Orlando... we should flip it op... lets let the south FL guys get the easy trip this time.

Also, I know that Mike (Rider69) is still out a hefty chink of cash from this last meet. If we want to make more of these happen... we need to settle up from the last meet before we can proceed.
Just a quick Talley. We were short by about $130.00 . I have sent an additional $25, and I know of at least one other who is planning on sending a nice chunk as well.
If everyone that Ate would just chip in a few more bucks... we would be sufficiently helping out Mike who graciously flipped the bill out of his own pocket.
even if it's a buck or two, it will be greatly appreciated.

Good to hear man... i truly hope whatever it was that went down wont keep you away... we seem to have a great crew here in FL.
As for the other crap... i started readin it and just gave up. I prefer to NOT know what went down. I know you (Mike) and know you're a great guy... along with everyone else I have met.

and i can get my girl and she can come lmaoi will definitely be attending meets, but as for joining promazda, not gonna happen. personally i think it might be a better idea to have our own FL club, and not worry about promazda. i sure as s*** don't want to drive up to their meets now, so why be a part of them at all? i'd hate to have to go to a "mandatory" meet with them, when they can't even make our first meet, which we scheduled on the specific day, since they were supposed to be there
i vote for a state wide club, with regional chapters. have an orlando chapter, a tampa chapter, a south FL chapter, a north FL chapter have meetings once a month in each area, and state wide meets every 3 months. any takers?

Im not going to quit promazda because of an attitude. I know them personally and Im sorry they suck online and have attitudes but I had one once and I got over it. Im not going to quit on them over a dissagreement. Im not going to hold it agaisnt anyone that doesnt want to be a part of the club to be honest Im ashamed of the actions there but Im not going to comment on it because I dont like drama period.
As I said before...I was the only one that was going to go to the meet. Everyone else had to work on that weekend. We work shifts up here and to request time off you'd need a few weeks in advance. The only one they could attend was spool's which they've been planning since before the FL meet. I was unable to go because my brother who is HANDICAPPED...DISABLED.....came to see me from Miami. How can I ask him to sit in a car for 8 hours to drive down there with me AND my son. I have a kid that I was going to take with me since I had no one to watch him then and I had to take care of my brother. That should not be hard to understand. I appologized time and again. When someone else doesnt make a meet, we dont critisize them. s*** happens and things come up. We understand that...we can have family problems too. Jo is and has been a VERY capable member since the get go. Thats why she has the run of the show down there. I was very dissappointed that I couldn't go. Trust me I was. I am originally from Florida and I miss it...badly. Not just the weather and the cool people...but I have family there. I have every reason to make a meet. But when it comes to family I havent seen in a few years with "needs", I am there for him and screw everything else. SITH, if you're reading this I'm sorry...but they had to understand... I love you and you are important to me. Thanks for coming to see us bro.
I will do whatever I can to make another meet in FL after the X-mas party. I will drive however long, find someone to watch my son, take a leave of absence.... you name it. We've driven to Ga, DC, VA, ...there's no where that we havent gone to except for ONE meet since we've made all the others. Again.. I'm sorry.
