I think I'm gonna order a cs motor mount insert and a cs mid pipe. I'm not gonna get the bpv I want for a while since I haven't found a greddy type s. So I'm thinking about just getting a forge. Even though I don't think the noise is that great. I want to get a dp but I think the install would be a pita. I just regret getting the extended warrenty. What do yall think about the cs motor mount insert and the cs mid pipe? I think it would be good with the mod I already have

I think the mid pipe will open up the exhaust alittle bit and will be easy to install and uninstall. It seems like I get too much air getting in and I need to get it out. Good stuff, can't wait to get them both

Definately the rear motor mount / test pipe. After those you can consider new intercooler options unless your willing to deal with the downpipe PITA.

How is the SU test pipe? It doesn't have the hangers does it? I think it is alittle bit more expensive than the cs mid pipe. I don't think I'll go with the motor mount, If I do it'll be the su rear mount because from what I read it was pretty much perfect.

I have both. If I could do it again, I'd get the SU test pipe. It fits better with the stock catback. The CS gasket is just too big. The inserts helped, but I only got them waiting on cp-e's mount. I can't notice any vibes really with the inserts, so I definately don't mind trying something stronger.

Yep Ive got the SU test pipe and I have no problems. Seals up fine and easy to install. Power gains easily felt. My favorite mod so far.

how much has the volume increased on your exhaust

With the SU test pipe, I plan on getting the hks high power exhaust later on. Since it fits up pretty nice with the stock cbe, how do you think it will fit with a 3" cbe? I wonder if the cpe mm will be better than the su mm? Didn't the cpe mm just start production?

i know gain wise, 3" cbe wont make a difference since the midpipe and dp arent 3inches. the amount of air coming out of the dp and midpipe wont chage.

but it sets you up in the future for when you want to do turbo exhaust 3inches all the way back.

if the HKS high power cbe is 3", id say get the corksport racepipe over the SU testpipe(WHICH IS 2.5 inches.) since the Corksport racepipe is 3inches as well. and its cheaper than the SU pipe.

it will save you from having to go buy a 3" midpipe later down the road when you want to upgrade your downpipe

I don't plan on getting a dp until my warrenty is over in 2012. So exhaust wise I'm just gonna get the mid pipe back exhaust. Thanks for the info though, appreciate it

Is pretty much stock. When you step on it however it has a slightly different growl to it.

As for the connection to the catback. I have a GHL which bolted on perfectly. The SU test pipe bolts up to the stock exhaust perfectly. Adding any other part of the exhaust wont be any harder than if the stock setup was still there. Also the SU test pipe is 2.5 or 3 inches. According to the SU website the 2.5 is better if you plan on keeping the stock downpipe. Sounds kinda weird to me but what do i know.

I just checked out su and it said the race pipe is 3.00" I rather go the cs mid pipe because of the hangers. I can't wait to get this... I want to order it right now but I can't get anything til after christmas just incase my wife has already ordered it. Anyone hear anthing about the cpe mm?

I thought about getting the cs for the hangers, but i got a used PG testpipe which doesnt have hangers and it works perfectly fine. I'm not sure if the hangers are really needed or not, maybe for extra support, but I dont have a problem on mine without hangers
