yeah, i definitely faintly heard the clunk. i have about 3000miles on the new E's (2800 to be exact) they've been on since early november. its been pretty harsh weather here lately, but i can hear a faint clunk developing. HOWEVER, when they put on the latest E's they didn't replace my sway bar. i had the D's on since Feb 02 and had the clunk BAD with those, so i'm HOPING it was just the bar. but if it isnt... :(

again, i'll get my sway bar replaced hopefully with the new E's again.

Question- do i need new swaybar AND new E bushings? or just the bar?

Hmmm not trying to sound like a dick or anything...

but i think this new thread isnt really neccesary... should have just kept it in our old clunk thread.... you are kind of raving some havoc in the MP3 community with this new thread making ppl think that the E bushings are like the previous C, D bushings etc...

you should have first gotten a new bar and if it still fails THEN make this thread and let ppl know...

Jus my 2 cents.. and please dont take it the wrong way.

no, but who is going to read thru EVERY post in that thread? i posted there already.

anyhow, just wanted to see if anyone else had this

Keep us up to date pdaudio..,....but in the right thread :)

lock this thread someone, or just stop posting here.

Thanks for starting this thread pdhaudio. I also have the clunk on my e's after around 8000kms....I'm gonna try and get the bar replaced as well....we'll see what the dealer says

We're not "starting" this thread. it's dead, there's already too many bushing threads.

Please for the love god DO NOT POST ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS THREAD AND POST IT IN THE RIGHT CLUNK THREAD

the end.

Mine has went 3,000. No clunks so far when driving daily. I have had an incident when I let the car sit for 3 days and backed out of the garage and it clunked (it was 5 below 0 as well).

******* clunk threads are getting as bad as the flash threads....,hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe, my car clunks, but I'm still on old bushings, new ones will be in before the middle of Feb. Should I just ask for the bar while I'm at it???

Ask for everything. The Mazda techs think they know everything. Don't be too pushy with them. Utilize principle bargaining not positional bargaining when negotiating and most likely you will be accommodated.

Study up before you go. Have your facts down from the MP3 community.

Let us know.
