I am not even trying to be a dick here but seriously is giving me the customer service number helping?
Its all over your website.
Is telling me that you have great customer service "helping"?

i might not be able to help you solve your problem, but I can't believe you are now saying I wasn't trying to help. If I wasn't trying to help, I would just ignore this thread and not answer any of your post or pms.

because who's going to end up paying for whatever was purchased if it was a fraud? it could be the cc company or merchant.... if the merchant fails to validate the transaction then the cc company can hold the merchant at fault and the merchant pays for the s***

it's called accountability... who takes responsibility? the first in line to stop this s*** is the merchant... and ultimately, the cc company are banks, and like actual banks and insurance companies, they do whatever s*** they can to NOT pay out of their pocket... so in otherwords, if they find fault in someone else, they just point the finger at them

the cc company is only responsible when everything has been done to ensure a legit transaction when it turns out in the end it isn't

I don't see how it's the merchants fault for taking money that was offered to them, fraud or not.

The whole thing with credit cards blows my mind anyway. The businesses pay more than the customers, the customers only pay when they are late.

The businesses offer it too attract more customers, and customers who spend more money than they have. The fees the business incur from the CC companies are just passed along to the customer by charging more for the product/service.

There is a pyramid where customers are on the bottom, and if you want to be on top you have to be a business. Well, it's a false hope because to be on top you have to be a really really big business. Otherwise you're still a pawn of big business.

Assuming New Egg is big business, they should be able to point the blame at the CC company for lack of security on their product (The CC # itself). But Alas, New Egg is just one of a trillion accounts with these banks.

I see the opportunity for a new system to replace the current one, one that benefits the businesses more. If it was setup correctly all the businesses would flock to it for their benefit. hmmm
 
Back for my weekly update....still NOTHING!

No big suprise.
I have now tried hitting them on the eggxprt forum. Still nothing.

They recieved the case on Friday of last week.
On monday I got 3 emails in all of 5 minutes saying that:
1. We have the shipment.
2. The case is in the shipment. Allow 2-3 days to process the RMA.
3. Here is your RMA # for your return <----WTF?

Anyways, by my count monday trhough friday is 5 days and yet I recieve no emails, no calls, no RMA progress past step 3 (this is appratently the we have out heads in our ass phase) and most importantly no refund.
 
A Refund was proccessed and posted to my credit card.

That refund was for ONLY $59.99
The case I bouth with shipping was $75.55

I take it even though this item was RMA'd specificly for shipping damage and that not allowing me eligability for a rebate and with all of the other c**p...I dont even get a refund on the shipping?
Awsome... no case, 45 days of hassle, and $16 gone
The next time I even consider buying from Newegg, I am just going to pay someone $16 to kick me in the balls.
