Hello, I purchased a '99 Mazda 626 in Febuary of 2010. I'm a beginner driver and this is my "practice car" until I turn 16. It needs some work but my dad and I have found out most of the problems. We have just put new serpentine/drive belts on it, and it needs a control arm, catalytic converter (it was stolen and replaced with a pipe), new muffler, and the driver's door lock solenoid needs replacing. I am already going to put a new radio faceplate on though because the current aftermarket ALPINE from the '90s is crappy. It has the 2.0L I4 by the way when you put the car in reverse, you need to rev. it to 1500 RPM's to get it to move. Any help will be appreciated.
