Newbie to MSP and to Turbo lifestyle..

Get a hks bov, put it about 1 1/2 feet from the throttle body. Keep your stock bpv in place. This will solve stalling issues and you wont need the recirculation fitting from the hks

I got the HKS, although I came across a "how to" thread here, and its how to "kill the turkeys". It said to "put the BOV on the section of the hardpipe that connects to the throttle body". It then said to "make a hole that is the exact same size as the inner diameter of your flange. Make this hole no closer then 3", and no further then 14" from the TB". Although, I don't know how big the "inner diameter of the flange" will be, I can't find such specs. I'm retarded and don't know how to add a link to the thread, but I need to tell the guy at Turbohoses.com where I'm going to put the BOV. Wasn't sure how to describe it.

How can I find out the Diameter of the flange? I'm assuming I might have to tell the guy at turbohoses.com before they fabricate the hardpipe..

it should be listed on the bov box. also the hks is so popular turbohoses probably know how big the inner diameter is anyway. definately go with what the how to kill your turkey thread says as far as distance from the throttle body. to add a thread go to thread tools on the upper part of the top of the thread and click the drop down menu. on there will be an option to subscribe to the thread. click that and then it takes you to another screen that asks if you want to add it and just click add. in the future you can go into edit options and choosed to have yourself automatically subscribe to threads that you post in.

your best bet is to pm 505 Zoom, you will find him on the first post, click his username and choose the private message user option on the right of the screen you come to after clickin on his username. he is the one that figured out how to run the dual setup so he is the best one to ask. i would say whatever distance he says to put the bov flange that is the distance to use. it should be right there ont he first post on that thread

Here is a pic of someone who mounted their BOV near the Throttle body, and kept the BPV:

Just wondering if this would be a good location for the BOV. I'm getting a lot of feedback in regards to placement thru threads and PM's. I hate how modd'ing is never straight forward with any car I buy thats foreign, I swear things seemed sooo straight forward and simple when I had a chevy truck. All I want to do is eliminate the turkey and add a little better performance. I thought aluminum hardpipes and an aftermarket BOV would be an easy and simple way to resolve the problem and make the car run better. Now I'll be running into stalling issue's by adding a BOV... lame. I do intend to keep the stock BPV on their, hopefully that'll help any stalling issue.

doing the dual will not give you stalling issues, you just have to monkey with the bov so it doesnt open too early thats all
