Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V
Whats up everyone. I'm looking to get a new car and i've loved MS3's since they came out, but couldn't afford one for the longest time. I have a new job lined up and of course need to upgrade my car along with the job (friday)
I've looked into the TSB's and recalls and didnt see anything that was a major concern, but wanted to know if there's anything i should look out for while im shopping around. I'm currently driving a 2003 Sentra SE-R Spec V, and have learned the hard way that widespread problems aren't always accounted for, so i'm trying to be smart this time around. Any advice would be appreciated, and I hope to be a part of the community soon.

And since I like to show off, i'm throwin up a pic of my rice burner :p

Thanks James, I did come across that in the TSB's, didnt know how widespread the problem was though.

There are many members who mod the heck out of their motors and that's where they are running into problems and also probably running them hard and not allowing cool down period, regardless if it is liquid assisted cooling or not. Myself and other local members who do minor mods, NO DP, have not had the same smoking turbo issues as others who have, because of the pressure difference the DP causes...but who knows...just My 2 cents. Personally my car has been very good to me and I have 33K and I do run it hard every once awhile since gas prices are still kinda high and so far no issues.

Yeah, if i get a MS3 i'm probably gonna do intake, bpv, solid mounts or inserts, and tip and leave it like that for a while. And i baby the hell outta my spec, i'm sure i'll be the same with the MS3.
