2000 1.8L & 2001 2.0L if parts are interchangable, what parts?

2000 1.8L & 1999 1.8L from the miata. Same engine? performance upgrades for the miata, will they work on the Portege? or are the parts model specific, (only work with the Miata setup?)

Also, on the OBX website, it says the header for the 1.8L is 399 and the 2.0L is 299?? will the 2.0L header work on the 1.8L? what about intake manifold, head, cams, etc. fromt he 2.0L??

so far, my list of mods includes:
OBX header
ebay cold air intake
tuning chip or module (any suggestions on this?)
awr motor mounts
magnaflow catback exhaust (I think thats the one I'm thinking of)

there might be a few more things but I'm at work and have to type quick..

no miata parts interchange with the last model protege. miatas and proteges stopped sharing engines back in 1994. the 1.8 and the 2.0 are for most intents and purposes the same engine. the obx header (which i am currently offering for 199 shipped) will fit either the 1.8 or 2.0 without a problem. the underdrive pulley from rr-racing will fit, same exhausts fit, i believe the intakes for the 2.0 will fit, the motor mounts will fit. there is no plug and play "tuning module" for this car. with a little adjustment the turbo kits made for the 2.0 will bolt up
