hello folks--
just picked up a P5 about 5 months ago and have not done much. i guess it is a 03.5 because it has the woofer in the spare tire and came without a roof rack or rails, just the "chrome" filler strips. only thing if have done so far is the rails and rack, i picked from probin94. all went well, thanks to the roof rack delete thread, i only had to drill four holes is the roof. taking out the headliner was a bit cumbersome and it took a few hours but all is well no leaks. if anyone is interested in any of the details i would be happy to provide what i remember. anyway, i am sorry but i am new here and the search has not been my friend. so if someone could kindly provide a link, i am looking for a thread that was discussing swapping in a 6-speed for the 5-speed i have(for fuel economy). the engine just revs to high on the highway at 65+.

also i have been unable to find any UOA's. i am guessing that mobile 1 5w 30 should be good for 10,000 miles but would like some input. engine has 135,000 miles.
one more thing a link to that how-to thread so i can find that easily would be great as well.
