2010 Mazda 3 Grand Touring, 2010 Mazda 3 i Touring
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums and new to Mazda's (for the most part). My wife and I just bought two new 3's. Hers is a Grand Touring in Celestial Blue and mine is an i Touring in Gunmetal Blue. I'll post some pictures soon, just wanted to say hello!

Welcome and Congrats on you zoomx2 purchases. My wife drives a 3i touring in gunmetal blue as well and loves it! She hates giving up the keys so I can drive it to work. lol

Congrats, how comes she has the better of the two?

Going to guess you are single? (lol2)

Well, at first we only planned on getting one new car because mine was still fine (I had a 2008 Kia Optima LX). We got hers for both of us really, but then I liked it so much and the 0% financing was still available so I decided to get one for me, but I got one that is supposed to get better gas mileage (but it doesn't so far). I'll admit, I thought mine would be a lot more like hers than it is, but it's not. It is like two totally different cars, nothing even similar really. If I had to do it over, I'd get another GT especially with the problem I'm having with mine (see post A Problem Already!).

Could it just be the crowing of the road on the interstate? I mean I don't know where you live but transports here make quite the grooves in the pavement, and if you aren't wide enough to follow in the same grooves your car will seem to wander around the lane.

No, the roads are pretty smooth around here for the most part. It's got to be something with the car, because I've never had that problem with any other vehicle. Even my old 72 Ford F-250 don't do it. I really hate it, it's almost turned me completely against the car. I really hope that they figure it out.

Congrats on the pair of Mazda's...My G/F liked mine so much that two days later she went and got a 2010 MZ3 GT 4-door in Liquid Sliver. She was upgrading from a 1996 Eclipse so she definitely went with the higher trim on the MZ3; whereas for me I just needed something for a "Daily Driver" since I have a 2007 Volvo S60R already. Though I'm definitely getting great MPGs averaging anywhere from 30-35 on a fairly regular basis. My g/f MZ3 GT gets around the mid-20s mpg, but if I had to do it again I probably would have liked to go with a 5-door S-Sport model.

Congrats on the purchases. I am trying to convince my lady into a Speed3 or at least Mazda3 hatch. Getting closer everyday. Haha.
