New WOMP turbocharger....

we should combine them to make the power of a turbocharger and the properties of a supercharger and make "The Super-Turbo Charger". Somebody needs to get to the drawing boards.

I was actually wondering the other day if something like that could be done, or maybe it already has been.
Like a whipple supercharger powered by an exhaust gas turbine. Anyone ever heard of something like that? Eh, maybe just get a VATN turbo and call it a day.

twin screw blowers like the whipple are gear driven so you'd have to find some way for one turbine wheel to spin a REAL heavy rotor and that rotor would be gear-driving another rotor...I think you'd end up with a HUGE exhaust restriction.

pfft, my lawnmower has a bigger turbo man, thats like, pure Rice man, all thats for is looks, kinda like that whisteling exhaust. OMG guys, you could so get a bigger one that that easily, come on, fuction before form people, thats a puny tomato, maybe grape tomato, not a real tomatoe...lol.

I'm going to run 5W-20....ford uses it in all their new motors....I'm not sure if it's turbo approved though.....who cares...boost is awesome and that's all that matters.

That's nothing compared to my new EGR system. It pipes all the exhaust back into the intake, so the more you throttle it, the more exhaust it makes, the faster you go. And no more emissions either, it's perfect. I have tested it and it makes 80% more.horsepower than stock and 75% more torque. It also does your dishes, walks your dog and uses no gasoline whatsoever.

I was actually at a power plant where the turbo on the engines was that big. The generator set was a Wartsila 12V32 diesel. good for 5 megawatts. (for those who don't know the conversion, that is approx 6,700hp). I believe it used like 385 gallons of diesel an hour.
