new wheels on the 323

How would that setup work with coilovers?
Would you not have some serious tire rubbing?

I was surprised by the tire rub, not much at all, just a bit in the rear. I have H&R springs but they are aged, sagging, and don't allow ride height adjustment. With coilovers, I can fine tune my ride height and the flares will allow me to cut my fenders for extra clearance. I like the wide stance look on this car for some reason, eventually I may turn this into an all out road race car.

I like the wheels a lot and think you made a good choice compared to others but the wide look I feel is not that great with the car unless you get wider fenders or have them flared out. I know the style you are trying to achieve but not all cars can pull them off. No offense, not trying to be rude its just nice to see a good execution picking out some real nice wheels for a change .

Thanks for the input guys. I like hearing everyone's opinions, good or bad. I know this car can pull off flares with good tire clearance. It's gonna be tricky in the rear because the door is part of the fender, but whatever it takes I'm gonna do it right.

I'm gonna say flat out I don't like the red. It would have looked a lot better with black, or like gunmetal-ish color on the wheels. I love the wheels themselves, however.

Either way, it doesn't matter how they look, bc you can blow away the average ricer no prob with that mazda turbo


And yeah, get those flares on, i wanna see how it comes out!

The gunmetal finish was my first choice. But my buddy had these for his ae86 and they sat in his garage for 3 years, 0km on the rims and tires. He scrapped his project and sold them to me for dirt cheap. Now that I have them, I'm glad they're red. The black and gunmetal versions are just as nice looking too.

i like to idea they just poke out a little too much for my taste
but I'd just stretch the tire a little more and bring them in and your set but they are are 15x8 so idk if thats even possible

are those wheels a zero offset? and what flares are you planning on using? the rear door is the main problem with using flares on a gt

Yes, the wheels are 0 offset. I have a set of corolla flares I got from a buddy, it looks like they could work with some modifications.
