new turbo kits

I agree on the T25. My goals have always been a reliable, yet more spirited car. So I don't have too much of a problem with it, and its limited boost levels.

As for the fuel, the controller only controls the extra injector, right? I still think it would be necessary for a voltage clamp to prevent the ECU from pulling fuel from its own injectors due to the higher A/F ratio from the extra injector being used, while in closed loop.

hmm, once the guy who actually has this installed on his mp3 replies we'll find out what he does....makes sense though doomer.

I wonder if something like this is included in the kit??

I just bought the kit for my 1.6L and it should be here in 7 days b/c he had one in stock... so when i get it i will post pictures and everything else...

i cant beat the price from what was said matty thats a hella a good deal. lets see how good it is!

3600 or so plus shipping with all that but he prefers to do it becuase he alters parts in the car like the goose neck and the downpipe.

tuning an extra injector with an AIC is not really that hard, you will need a few things like a wideband...etc. to tune it though.

have you seen the set-up they use Jeff??? Also, I'm tuning it on a P5 with MP3 ecu....tuning is CRUCIAL!! Take a look at their controller and tell me what you think.

all AICs basically work the same, you can tune it so when your stock inj's hit a certain duty cycle the aic comes on and does its work...its acctually a really good way to tune the car(if you aren't running rediculous amount of boost), although you can't tune timing, which is a disadvantage, but you can use the AIC in conjuction with a piggyback if you decide to tune the timing.

i like electrical stuff even though i hate running wires! just like i bet people didnt know in our cars that if you blew your radio fuse on a auto that it wont shiift out of park.

corwin....who the hell would buy an auto??? (jk)

Jeff, doomer mentioned about controlling the ecu from going into open loop. How is this handled on something like this? This would be HELLA bad on my mp3 ecu if it cuts fuel. I was under the impression the AIC used the map sensor to detect boost and would start applying fuel prior to reaching a high injector duty cycle. This would cover the lack of fuel, but does nothing for timing. What do you think man, am I asking too much? All I want is 10-12psi on the T25 with the FMIC and AIC....this should be possible right??

They need to do something to force the car into open loop under boost, otherwise the stock ecu will pull fuel (switch maps?).

And a T25 would be way better than a T3 for the applications you're talking about. I got to spend some time in a certain 16g MP3 versus my T3 MP3. World of difference and a T25BB would be even faster on the spool up I believe. T3 sucks! Okay, maybe it is just more like my mom. . .been around for a while and old reliable, but a little slow to get going, a little messy, and nothing to brag about (IMHO).

(rofl) From your description, I hope I never meet your mom :). As for switching it to open loop, are you thinking voltage clamp to fake the O2 while under closed loop? Or something like the TPS modifier trick that the J&S does(which I already purchased :) )?
