hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, but not to Mazdas. In the past I've owned GLC's and 323's. I currently have a Black Mica 2001 ES2.0 that I'm working on as well as a Silver 2002 LX2.0 that my wife drives. Looking forward to all the great input from everyone. I think the first thing I want to do is get a header for it. I've heard OBX are good. Any other suggestions? Any suggestions must be able to be bought and shipped to Canada.

hey man! Welcome to the forums. Hope you'll find this place as fun and informative as we all do.

Yea obx header is great. I used to have it and it was amazing! Also if you would add an exhaust and intake (simple mods), it would be a great combo along with the header. Also, lowering the car will make it look bad ass and give you more precise handling around the corners.

Mod away and dont forget to post pics. And if you ever need help, never forget that search feature on our forums is a great tool to find 99.99% of answers that you're looking for, but then again if you can't find something, then just ask people, and Im sure people will be glad to help out with some info.

yea thats why I sold my obx header (thumb)

thanks for the wlecome everyone.

I don't plan on turboing this one. I want to build a N/A ride... so header, intake, exhaust, cams, injectors, etc. is the way I'm going. I used to have an 85 Mustang SVO turbo 4 banger. It was always giving me issues, so no turbo this time.

I know about the addiction. Luckily I have an understanding wife! You just have to look away and keep your mouth shut when she buys new shoes everytime she goes out.

I hope to pick up an OBX header soon. Then I'm looking at a complete Racing Beat exhaust. I heard Simota has an alright CAI or SR if your not looking at spending big bucks on an AEM or Ingen.

i have thunder headers which are great and they won't throw a check engine light, because they have a space for the 2nd o2 sensor.
