Hey all, i've been a member of the mazdaworld.net/forums site for about two years now and well i currently have a 99' Millenia S, custom CAI and remus exhasut (love it) but i've been having problems with it and i cant pass inspection because the front cat. is bad and it's over $1000 to fix....i've wanted a Speed3 for about a year now and im finally getting the chance to get one. I'm going to look at an 08' Speed3 on friday. I was just wondering what you all thought about the car personally, i've read tons of reviews and watched a dozen more on youtube and i couldnt be more happy about it.

I love mine. Wanted one since they came out. I was gonna get a CB, 'cause there was no white. When CWP came out, I jumped. I've had it 17 months and 12,500 miles. My kick is carving corners. The acceleration is fun, but esses are a hoot.

I don't think I've met someone who hasn't been happy driving a MS3. It's been my dream car since I saw it at the auto show a few years back. <3 it.

Aside from the guys that want 400whp from the stock block (at this time), this car is great. Handling is awesome and the power is great.

P.S. If its used, get a carfax.

I was hell bent on getting an 07 STI but when I was in the market (march 08) they had killed the STI and used prices went high. Got me to really look into the MS3, heard CWP was coming out and put a deposit down for whenever they came in. Dont regret it at all, had it about 1.5yr give or take 16k miles daily driven. Corners are where its at for this car.

Make sure and ask for a lower price as it was "obviously" modded and "almost definitely" raced. (burnout)

Welcome to the forums. MS3 is a great little car. Not gonna be a serious drag racer, but there is definitely plenty of power there when stock, and a few minor mods will add some noticeable pep. Just don't go overboard.

Is the potential new ride a Sport or GT model?

Many Gt models do NOT have the nav so that isnt the best way to tell. HIDs, led tail lights, and leather seats are a more accurate way to tell.
