New to NEPOC!

I'm Mark and I am a former owner of a Stage 2+ Audi A4 Quattro but it got totaled from water damage from the past monsoons we had. Actually a funny story, it was parked harmlessly in the Community College parking lot but I guess the storm drains got clogged and I had 3-5 inches of water in my car. Condensation accumulated and started to form dew in the dash board, gauge cluster, stereo, and screwed up my peddles. Anyways, the insurance company totaled it and the light at the end of the tunnel is that I got to buy a new car and here I am. My former club kind of felt sorry but they couldn't have a Mazda parking with them at meets.....kind of changed my opinion of them quick.

Wow.... we could care less if you have a Mazda, lol. Lots of NEPOCers don't have a Mazda any more but still show up to meets and post on the board!

Welcome. Was your former club all Audi only? That's rough dude, but no worries here bro. We are an all car community at heart. Of course it helps to own a Mazda for some of our Mazda specific events/meets.

It's a Audi/VW club and I have been a member with these guys for 3 summers.....Yea I was gonna go to DustOff with them since its really close to my house and they wanted to pick me up. I said I could drive since I bought the MS3 and they weren't having it. I flipped out basically....I helped all those suckers with mods and they dispose of me just because I don't drive Audi/VW. I think it because they had the club split into two different groups and they wanted to save their reputation. Watevs....

For the name thing.....most of my friends call me Marky. I hated it at first but now it sort of grew on me.

I'm debating on 'go or show' for my first mod. My choices are either SRI + TIP, Secondary cat-delete, or tint + springs. I'm really indecisive about this. Whatcha think should be first?

I vote Go as well... I did the second cat delete first on the MS6 and recently added a CAI. Next will be the dual port BPV/BOV (why do I not know what to call this... argh!)

The second cat delete would be wicked easy..

I say do first what you can afford and really want. Let all other mods come in to play later. That is of course if cost is an issue. Go factor is part of the MS3 and easy to do over the RX-8 in terms of cost to performance gains.

Second cat-delete is easy and cheap.....might do cat-delete + SRI + TIP since its all pretty cheap.(thumb) I'm use to $400 intakes and for Audi. Plus cat-delete lets the exhaust sound sexxi!

yeah.. audi/vw owners are a strange bunch.. I used to hang out with a bunch of them when I lived in PA, but I didn't really want to buy a car that required a LOT of expensive maintenance.
