2008 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring
Just wanted to drop a line to the community and say hello. Over the weekend I picked up a CPO 2008 CX-9 GT AWD. 52k miles on the clock, and outfitted with (meh) Nav and the RSES. Kids love the DVD player and headphones. Hell, I love the headphones! Picked her up for just over 25k, and included 12 month/12k mile limited warranty as well as the remainder of 7 year/100k mile powertrain warranty. Ive been reading a bit on this forum and would like to thank those for the advice on checking the TSBs. I didnt think about that while I was there, so I will be taking it in to have them check it out. They will be repainting my hood (nice scratch on it) as well as installing the roof rack cross bars. Those are necessary for the mountain trips this winter. The boards wont fit in the car like they did with the Element I am selling. I love the handling so far, and coming from the Element, the power gain is substantial. Just about on par with my old 93 Lexus SC400. Looking forward to hopefully a nice long experience with this car.

I picked up pretty much the same thing. Mine is an 08 GT with sunroof no nav or RSES with 35k and paid $24500. Love the truck especially with a baby due sometime this week. Hope you enjoy it!

Welcome, from a fellow snowboarder. Have been an avid boarder since I was 11 years old (1992). I plan on getting a board rack this winter as well.
If you haven't seen the tsb for the rear differential, deffinately get that checked out. If you have any fluid whatsoever seeping from your rear axle diff, they have a tsb for it, and rather than gasket or cover change, the tsb is to replace the entire diff with a newly re-designed rear differential...if you are still under warranty, crawl under and see if any fluid is seeping. Welcome again!

Hey thanks for the tip. I did buy Certified Pre Owned, so there is plenty of warranty left. So if Im understanding correctly, as long as you are under warranty they take care of TSB's at no charge? Are TSBs automatic or does a failure have to occur first. I will definitely need the AWD for the many trips to Bear and Mammoth! Dont exactly want that failing on me.

welcome, guys. good deals...it's always risky to buy pre-owned but i wish you well with your new rides!
