New to Mazda

Well actually, I will be new to Mazda! I'm patiently awaiting for the arrival of the Diesel powered CX-5's. I almost bought the gas model but decided to wait for the diesel models early next year. I just hope the price leap from gas to diesel won't be too significant. After reading the reviews of the diesel CX-5's in Europe and other countries I decided to wait. My wife currently drives a 2012 VW Passat TDI and we're impressed by the mileage and torque. From what I hear the Skyactiv-D will be much better than VW's TDI. Can't wait! I'm looking forward to be part of the Mazda community and learn from all of you.

My CX-5 is my first ever Mazda, my first ever diesel, even my first ever brand new car! I have been VERY impressed with it so far and the wait between pre-order and delivery (which was a few months) was very much worth it I can assure you! You won't regret the wait, it's worth it!

You guys in the UK are lucky. Unfortunately, the US market is slow to accept diesels. From what Mazda says we won't get the diesel CX-5's till early 2013. I'm just hoping for the best it goes through.
