new to cx-9 a couple questions

I just bought a Mazda cx-9 gt 2012, I had a pick up that I just bought blizzak's for, now they are on 16's has anyone every tried 16" wheels on the cx-9 I know it'll look goofy but they were $1400 tires that overall diameter is the same just not sure on brake clearance on 16's

I had them check with my 2010, and 17" is the smallest that will fit.

I have Sport Edition F7 rims with Blizzak DM-V1 245/65R17 tires. You can build a similar package at Tirerack.com
