2003.5 Mica Black P5
My 2003.5 P5 has been lowered with Eibach Pro-Kit. My stock 195/50-16's Dunlops are ready to be replaced. I'd like to go wider without risk of rubbing (even with passengers). Will 205/50's or 45's fit the stock 16x6" rim? Looking at Yoko's AVS ES100's since I have winter tire/wheels.

If not, thinking about going to a 17" rim with 215/40's same tire. Will these clear fenders ok with Eibach's?

Don't know about clearance but 215/45/16 will be closest to the same overall diameter.

I had a set of 205/50-16 Pirelli PZero Neros installed recently on the OEM 16x6 wheels. No problems to date. The accepted rim widths for this tire is 5.5-8.0" and the design rim width is 6.5". The effective sectional width only increases by 5 mm as the 6" OEM width is 0.5" less than the speced width. The radius increase is about 1.7%; probably less with the slight load compression at the contact patch. Changing out the POS Dunlops is probably the single most effective upgrade IMHO. 195/50-16 is seriously under-tired for a car of its mass.
