2007~2015 New tires, stability of alignment (CX-9)

Going to get new tires soon. How are these with alignment stability, as in should I spring for the extended/lifetime alignment package or not?

I drive like a grandpa and don’t do any off-roading or anything like that, and the roads are generally good around my area, if that helps to decide.

Probably not. Alignment stability...changes in the alignment...are a mechanical thing, not a tire thing. Alignment changes when the suspension parts wear or when you hit something and bend a part. As you describe your driving and your roads, save your money.

Just buying new tires is not necessarily a reason to get the car aligned. Look at your tires. Are they wearing evenly?...good. Does the car pull to the left or right if you momentarily take your hands off the steering wheel? No?...good. No need for a wheel alignment. Some tire shops push the alignment service as a great way to pad the bill.
