So I am dying to get some wider wheels and I want them before next AutoX season. So i am willing to compromise away from Enkies and Rays. I am looking at some Rota P-45R 17x9+30 wrapped in some Nitto NT05 wheels 255/40ZR17s.
My question is, Has anyone autocrossed on Rotas before? Will they fold under heavy driving or pot hole slamming? I plan to hit up at least one or two HPDE events also and I dont want them folding or warping from hot laps or pot holes in the road on the way there. I have never had them and havent really heard anything bad about them (Rotas in general) except for some snobby remarks about knock offs and cheapo crap. Let me know. Oh, and I am not asking about fitment or anything. I will take care of all those issues. especially if I find some 17x9.5s (which they have) (yippy)
