First off, this winter on my 2012 Mazda3 Skyactiv I ran 4 16" Steel Wheels with 215/60R16 Blizzaks WS70 snow tires. I got them from a Nissan guy. Most threads I see on the internet sway people away from 215/60R16 on the Mazda3, saying it wI'll be too tall. I can say with confidence that, no, they are not too tall. The fit 'tall' And definitely give the car the bigger appearance, but they fit and did not rub at all.

Now for the tip. My front steel wheels got stuck on the hub. A common problem with steel wheels. After a few minutes with a rubber hammer, I thought, hey...I have a 30th rubber hammer going back on the car, so let's try that! Jack up your car, turn all the lugs nuts loose a few threads, but keep them on the car just in case things go haywire. Pick up your tire that is going back on the car, using leather gloves. Test swing so that you know you aren't going to smash a huge dent into your fender. Finally, give one hefty swing of the tire so that you make contact tire on tire. The stuck tire should give a nice pop and dislodge from the hub.

Some anti-seize on the hubs at change over goes a long way to preventing stuck wheels. Nothing worst than a 5 minute job turning into 30 minutes for each wheel.
