New Summer Rims

Bought my new summer rims off the RX8 forum today. OEM dark chrome.
I'm a little early since it's December, but I couldnt pass them up.

Pretty sweet, I thought about getting some of those back in late fall, but decided to pass them up because the last set that I had on my old car ended up pitting badly even tho I cleaned then every few days with chrome polish. so no more chrome for me.

Got a new floorjack for Christmas, so I thought I'd throw a couple of the rims on to see how they look, and to play with the jack of course.

mirror tint is the next mod..and leave it at stock ride height..LOL just joking man..i think silver would have looked better tho!

I was wondering - I thought they only came in the light grey coated or Hyper Silver on the Shinka Package RX8.

They may still wind up being painted silver, or gun metal before it's all said & done.

Thats interesting, the owner said they were oem chrome, not the re-chromes off of ebay in his original post. May explain why there arent more of them around.
