Good luck, it was EXTREMELY difficult to remove the OEM bumper guard. I used a ton of Goo Gone and floss. The floss kept breaking, it was very frustrating. I would suggest using fishing line if you have, and use a sawing motion while holding the fishing line at a 45 degree angle.

I unfortunately know what a PITA removal is...had to replace a bent OEM bumper guard with the same on my Mazda6 before I traded it in, and the 3M tape they used on that thing was seriously strong....even with one end partially loose, trying to pull it up and off didn't work...ended up having to do exactly what you note--sawing with a fishing line while pulling up on the guard.
