Yeah I am sponsored by Road Magnet. I really do though like how they ride and make the car look as well.
I'm curious about these springs since they were mentioned at the Mega Meet. Do you know: if they make springs for the P5, the springrates, the drop height, and whether they're progressive/linear? I'm just looking for something a little lower/stiffer than my S-Tech's.

if you think that that chip is going to do anything...DO NOT put a turbo on your car cause you obviously need to learn more about these cars.

Rite now your trying to be a Pioneer. but all your going to do is break your s*** and spend crap loads of money on NOTHING. research and see what everyone else has done. people have alot of knowledge on this forum. USE IT

I will contact Mark at Road Magnet and find out this info for you and get back to you. I'm pretty sure that they do make the springs for the P5 I just want to verify my info first before I tell it to you.

I have found a seller selling the same one but not who i bought mine from (unique autos, I called to verify). but here is the link. ask if you need help putting it in, the haynes book is completely off with my 00 dx and the directions they give are vague (two wire or three wire IAT connections)

Pics will be up tomorrow(rei)

yeah, that's what i was thinking...i guess for 30 bux, but that really doesn't do anything to the car. you should have saved the money, you'll need it when you go turbo.

also read up, the is a LOT of good info on these forums, you will find that with good tunning, the 1.6 can hold about 20 PSI making 290WHP on the stock block with the HiBoost kit (lol2)

did you edit your post? and I didn't mean that, I meant you should start saving for the kit rather than wasting it on something you don't need; but never mind, don't want to turn this into a flame thread.

saw your car at OC. I had the orange mazdamx6 in the first room. I am pissed with brian for the shity spot he gave me. I was next to Randys sick ass RX7 though. Congrats on takin 3rd :)

Hey yeah that mx6 was real nice and I understand why you would be upset too. Didn't you get 2nd place??? I think you do did so congrats on that. It was well deserved for sure.

Yeah I'm already saving for the kit, got $1,200 and am working on more. I'm not too woried though, I put 200 aside every two weeks plus whatever work I need to prepp the suspension. I haven't thought about which springs I was going to try no name and work my way up through the brands. I have access to a military garage too so it helps with not haveing to buy any tools and what not.(inout)

my new stuff:

-installed NGK IX Iridium spark plugs, ZFR5F-11, this morning (apparently ZFR5F-11 are stock on the JSPEC Protege, while ZFR6F-11 are stock on the MSP) - noticed less bucking when letting the clutch out too far when in 1st, and was able to back out of my parking spot using only the clutch

-dropped off my 2003.5 MSP wing to my friend to be painted - should be done and installed on Sunday

-awaiting my MSP stereo pocket from ProtegeGarage - should be here and installed on Friday or Saturday

:)

Just got the muffler and springs from a buddy in the west coast~ anyone know where to get a stage 2 clutch???

depends where i am in the power band, it really just helps the fuel injection and keeps the from retarding...

i think 16"s will be safe but I'm woried to do 17" I think if i do 16" it would be perfect because there's about 2.75" gap left or one foot to be jammed in there
