New Strut Bearings with BC Coilovers?

Hey Guys,

I recently got BC Racing Coilovers and I still hear a clunking sound after installing them and replacing the control arms. I've researched the sound and it turns out that a lot of the people running stock suspension get the clunk sound because of worn out strut bearings. My question is: Do I need to replace the strut bearings on the car even if I installed new coilovers? Does the coilover use the factory strut bearing or does it have its own?
