Its not a bad looks car at all but the only saab I've ever truly wanted is the discontinued 9-3 Viggen.

that Aero looks great. I've always had a thing for Saab Drop tops. Plus apparently Saabs have awesome midrange punch. I watched a top gear episode where they said a Saab is stupid fast from 40-65 or so.

Yeah right above the A pillar does seem quite high, or it might just be an optical illusion of the dramatic roof slope. Audi still makes the best proportioned sport wagons and the Protege5 Design still holds up amazingly well after all these years.

My good friend and fellow forum member has that exact car, and its definitely an animal in itself. They were truly an enthusiasts car, as they cost more than a Corvette for that model year. Most Viggen owners are hardcore Saab guys too. I would love to see this car come back, even if only a special edition.
