OMG you do not know what that is? its to support your tighs. BMWs have had this for 30 years. J/K

So did my 85 Mustang GT recaro style seats.

the current car is not that big, and i'd be surprised if the new one was much different since it's not a total redesign. i can tell you that the '05 G sedan (best $25/day rental EVER) handles like a much smaller car over the Santa Cruz mountains. i was pretty impressed, and my g/f was a little nauseous. :D

really i thought thats what year he said it was... maybe a 95 or 96 then..

the US E36 M3 was only sold from 95-99. They did have a 94 M3 in Canada however. It was a limited edition of 45 models. It was just a euro model imported to canada with only the changes needed to make it legal. Had the euro engine in it (286bhp as opposed 240bhp in the us model) as well as a slightly different suspension setup

I like it a lot. My friend has the last generation (4-door) with the 6-speed and it's damn quick.

The new Bimmer 335i (while I think they're boringly ugly, and I used to be a huge Bimmer fan) might be significantly higher in price.... but does has twin turbo 3.5 liter inline 6. 300 hp/ 300 torque stock. I imagine turning up those turbos could yield brutal power gains. could be a huge incentive for shelling out the extra dough.

EDIT:

OK I read the Automobile article and it's severly underrated.

Sweet. I could live with a used one of these in 3 years. :D

The BMW 335i is a 3.0 L not a 3.5 L.

I wonder if they got rid of the annoying dashboard on this car. The only thing I didn't like about the last generation's interior was that the entire dash cluster moved when you did the steering wheel tilt.
