I really need a new screen name, shaundarbie is too hard to remember! :)

That boot looks very cool. I was talking to another member with a connection for cf, but now that I see this it makes me wonder about the durability. Very cool look, though!

Yeah I love CF and all but my CF wallet has seen better days. CF is fine until it starts to fray just the slightest bit, and then it's all over.

i bought this boot awhile ago...had it on for a bit and took it off...basically you need to take the stock upper part of your boot off and apply it to the cf boot...that and the areas where you attatched it to the center console, if youve taken the boot off you might know what i mean. the stiching slowly broke on one of two of them for constantly taking the boot on and off...basically its ok its soft not hard cf and its looks alright i just liked the stock boot better. i hope this helps anyone and made sense.

i know im bringing this thread back from the dead but i was wondering how long the boot actually lasted...im thinking of getting one or a cf looking one but want to know how it was first before i make any decisions...

CF really isnt a fabric to be used like that. theres nothing protecting it, and its not woven tight like denim or something. if you were able to find 1k 2x2 twill youd have a chance, but 3k is just too wide. imagine enlarging the weave on your jeans 50x and trying to use the resulting fabric to make a shifter boot... you get the point.

.. hater. it looks good, I like it, and the price is right.

that shifter boot looks awesome.

thank buddy :) i'm way happy with it too. even though it does get unwoven eventually.

Why should it be locked, it was a cool idea that probably could use some revision to work better. IMHO it looks pretty damn cool, but is not practical for everyday driving.

ive seen the leather ones and im not feeling them in moy a leather kinda guy and theres no leather in my car but i have carbon fiber so itll match better and i dont drive my car every day hell i barely drive my car maybe once a week if im lucky and its only for a few miles...i have a work vehicle that i drive to and from work so my car would only be for recreational last time i drove it was week before last so this may be a good buy for me then....or i was thinking about this one i found on ebay

it should be locked because its from 2006...

and if you guys like to put trash from ebay into/on your cars, more power to you...

+1 this dude coming up in here trying to run s***. You can't just jump in the ring with Ali cause you think you can box.

its stuff like this that makes me hate the forums....

what is the point in bringing the negativity/trying to act liek you know everything? the boot STILL looks great after 3 years of daily driving. the only wear is on the front right side (like where 5th is) and I cant even see it from the drivers seat. In fact, I'll go snap a pic right now to settle all this BS.

my car isn't for show... but there's no reason to put down other people and their mods.

Yeah i dont get why some people do that i guess it makes them feel better or something thinking they are better than others what ever makes the happy ..I mean UNhappy... im still gonna get one regardless i don't drive my car often infact ive only driven it 3 times this month so it'll last me a little longer....
