New Race #'s need opinions

Zoom Zoom Boom X 3
These are a few of the number ideas I'm currently tosing around to put on the car for next season. I need some outside ideas and if you like one of these let me know. I'm kind of partial to the white # plate look, but the trim on the door might make it look weird and I can't remove that trim per the rules. If anyone wants to play with the picture I can send it to them.

Like the second one more.

The third one is to busy with it all clumped together, while the first one is great also. So between a toss up I like the second one more.

I didn't think you could run 300 series numbers...In our region you can only do 001 to 199.

It might change when we get our new timing equipment at the beginning of the year. We can run up to 999 right now on our current timing software. I've been thinking about going to two numbers, but I can't decide on anything.

Course workers will prefer option #1
Very true. Looks like I'll stick with that one. Now I need to find out if our new timing software will let me run that high of a #

#1 and if it is Axware then there will be no problem.

Little late to this thread, but it piqued my interest. :)

Remember numbers must be a minimum of 8" tall and class letters a minimum 4" tall for 2005 (SCCA Rules). Those three desgins, your class letters look smaller than 4" and the plate both number and class look too small.

Just something to keep in mind.

Yea. I saw that in the rules. I didn't do the photoshop drawings exactly to scale, but there is plenty of room to make the #'s and letters much bigger. I also switched to a 2 digit # so I can make them bigger if needed. Thanks

So now you'll be a real racer running 2 numbers. ;)

Anyway, I like the first pic...it's much cleaner and flows better.

The SCCA rules also denote numbers and class must be on the same line, so your only option is optoin #1.

BTW, i make vinyl numbers, magnetic, Static or stick on.

Interesting, I didn't know that.
