Hi all. I just picked up a brand new CX7 on Jan 20. I got the black/sand leather Grand Touring with the tech package. Only 630 miles so far on the clock and waiting for my first road trip. I was also looking at the Murano but I'm glad I decided on the Mazda. No complaints except for the speeding ticket I got a week and a half after picking it up. It's too tempting to go out and open it up. I live in Rhode Island so it's a little dirty from the road salt and sand. Once I wash it, I'm sure it'll shine. I got a lot of complements so far and it makes me feel good when I hear them. I've only seen two others around and they're both on the base that I work on. Ones a sport and the others a touring.

Welcome Marlon! Where in Rhody are you? (I'm guessing Newport/Middletown from your reference to "the base"). I'm in Cleveland now, but grew up in Rhode Island. I plan on driving my new CX there in April for a family gathering. I'm thinking it'll glide real nice down 95 in South County or up along 295. Where did you get your ticket?

Yes, I'm in Middletown. I'm originally from Ohio. Living here for 4 years now. I was on 138 coming from North Kingstown before the Jamestown bridge.

Ahhh, yes ... You gotta watch it through there ... NK and Staties patrol pretty heavy through there, but that is a nice little stretch to let the CX's horses gallup!

Congrats Marlon! The CX 7 is a great choice....the Murano is a beauty too but I always thought the CX 7 surpasses the Murano in several categories...handling, fit and finish and price! Enjoy your new ride!
