New owner of a 2011 MS3

I upgraded from a 99 honda and this car is amazing. Handles like a dream and the shifting is as smooth as an automatic. Only problem is the sound system is kinda weak and I want to add a GPS head unit. Also how is everyones MPG. I read some people are getting around 25 mpg. I have been driving it for two weeks and my MPG went from 16.5 and now its sitting at 18.5-18.7. I try not to drive it above 2500 rpm either. Once in a while i fail because its way to hard to go easy in this car.

Welcome and congrats on the MS3!

Ive managed 26 mpg several times... Also consider I live in Mexico City so lots of stop & go traffic...

You can probably get better mileage in the US... just be extremely gentle on the go-fast pedal... which turns out to be very hard for most of us!

It has 8200 miles on it. Bought it with 7600ish. So far I filled her up I think 3 or 4 times and only have gotten around 18.5 mpg. I live in Philadelphia so I have a lot of stop and go also. And when im driving I try to keep it under 3000 rpms mostly around 2500. I usually switch around 2200-2500.
