New no more....

I busted out the back windshield in my '97 tiburon trying to get ice of with the back of a knife. I'm in GA so we dont get ice that often. I was at some friends' house which really sucked. They wouldn't let me park it in their garage. On day 1 the glass people brought glass for the wrong year and it wouldn't fit. Day 2 they never even showed up and finally on day 3 they brought the right year but it had 2 holes for mounting a brake light which I had on my stock spoiler. I was so pissed for going 3 days with my car parked in the street with no back windshield i said fsk it and told them to install what they brought. Filled the holes with some bath tub caulk >.<;

Rocks...
Curbs...
Scratches....

It only seems like it is such a short time before your car goes from pristine, to well, less than that.

I got my 2007 MS3 on Feb 15th. Today...while driving in the horrible road conditions of downtown Balitmore (voted one of the worst in the nation) and trying to avoid the insane traffic --- cut a corner...scratched a rim. My fault I know. You can barely see it too...but I know it is there.

Exactly a month to the day before she is no longer a "virgin" car.

Anyone else? How long and what happened? Door get bumped / scratched in a parking lot, hit a curb, rock hit your windshield / chip some paint?

When I got my new Integra I had it about 6 weeks when somebody at the golf course bounced a golfball exactly in the middle of the hood. The divet was huge - drove me insane till I got it fixed

Thats a lot of things to happen in just a few months....

Yes....yes it is.....I'm thinking about getting rid of the problem.

The Escape that I still have, and drove before this car, lasted about a week before my brother dented the hood a teeny bit with a basketball. Then about a year later the husband lowered the attic door in the garage and dug a big ravine into the front cladding. Had that replaced.
Another time he threw a screwdriver at the engine of his car, it bounced off and hit my windshield....cracking it.....had that replaced.
Then, about two weeks before I got my MS3, He backed his big old truck into the rear liftgate of the Escape...because I had it parked too close to the driveway........The liftgate still isn't fixed. I don't want another insurance claim.........
On the upside, I didn't get a door ding in the Escape until year 4. So that's pretty good.

Sometimes I really wish I was single.

A bunch of rocks hit my car after the guy in front of me hit a pothole at 70mph. It put a ton of tiny chips in the bumper and a few on the hood, windshield and passenger door. I almost cried. I also got a few scratches on the rear bumper and a ding on the fender. Most of the blemmishes are difficult to see, but I know they are there.

Can I offer a slight downgrade from your husband's Cobra to my 06 GT?

I promise I won't mess up your car and I'll never ask to drive it.

I kid, I kid.

.....I'll totally ask to drive it.

A couple of weeks ago we had Hail here in Miami. HAIL!! IN MIAMI!!!

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Two barely noticable dents one at the upper rear corner of the drivers door and another on the roof right in front the rear spoiler.

I feel your pain.

I bought my P5 on Saturday. Monday I was walking towards it in the parking lot and watched a 16 year old turn the wheel before she started backing up and slammed into my passenger door and fender. $1,600 worth of damage when she was 2 days old, that sucked.

Assholes at the dealer scratched my driver side rims a little in their car wash...

Well, the 06 is pretty sexy....(shady)

I have had my 3 since October of '05. Since that time there has been nothing wrong with it, at least that I have noticed, no scratches...nothing. Then two weeks ago I was driving to work and two rocks bounced off my windshield. One of them left a nice size divet right in my line of sight. I was so pissed off, I actually had to take a moment when I got to work to calm down a bit. Now I just laugh.

My car before the 3 was a 1999 Infiniti G20. Not long after I brought it home some kid decided that he wanted to shoot it with a bb gun and took two nickel size chunks of paint off the rear quarter panel. That kid is lucky I didn't catch him in the act...little bastard.

popped her cherry

3 months after buying my mazda 3 - i was at a bar with a buddy. it was last call and i was in no shape to drive home so i gave him the keys. he [being a pilot as well] is one of the only ppl i will let drive my car. we decided to go to McD's for food and as he is taking the hard right out of the drive through manages to hang the car up on the curb completely destroying the body panel under the right side doors. (freak) $1000 later and you can't tell anything happened. Less than a month after having it fixed - i get REAR ENDED in an intersection by some girl [who was kinda cute actually]!! thank god i saw it coming and let off the brakes so the only damage was a dented license plate....

the world is out to get my car - i'm telling you.
