Well i got to talking with slug about shirts and he said he will be making a new design for nepoc shirts. We need about 20 people for this to happen and cost will be around 15 bucks. I for one an interested in this since I do not have a said shirt and there are none available or in floatation. So if you want more nepoc goodies post it up here!

are they going to be similar to the GI Joe style of the last ones with the New England outline on the back????
-R

I have a whole new concept for these.

probably not the GI JOE logo only because it is 4 colors and that makes it significantly more expensive....

a NEPOC logo or image of some kind on the front, and on the back I am thinking of going with "Rock out with your POC out! 2005 New England Tour!" across the top all done up nice and then list out the locations of all our events from the year like a concert shirt.....

i will be putting together designs and posting them up once we get significant interest :)

(wrc) Has the T-shirt thought lost steam? My co-driver and I would like to try to get the list finished. We have quite a few rallys for next year and want to show the NEPOC pride (2thumbs) I know I am a newbie (loser) to the club but I am still proud of my little P5. Hopefully we can (group) and get it finished. (2thumbs)

its as alive as ever i guess. I need X number of people to pre-pay this time though as I dont have the money to front like last time. I could probably have them made in as small a quantity as 15 so I guess if we get a couple more interested I can get it rolling....

you guys rally? as in USRC/Rally America? What car do you use?

hit me up on AOL IM and we can meet up sometime so you can get a/some sticker(s)

:( sorry no AOL. No, I don't rally (at least not yet) my co-driver is the wife. It is funny you mention it though cause I have been around the SCCA for many years and recently became a member with the plans on being a flagger/corner worker next year, but I also saw that they have road rallys on some weekends where the average joe could compete. You have to obey all traffic laws  but it would be competition, you get to enjoy driving (drive) and at the end (drinks) I was gonna post this after the new year to see if anyone was interested, I thought it would be cool for a bunch of us to compete (rockon)
Have you ever tried Richard Burns Rally for the PC? (rockon) it is incredible
are you involved in racing? (outie)

Havent played richard burns....i just get my rally kicks from GT3/GT4.

I am not involved in racing....just been up the the MFR a couple times. Wanted to volunteer the last couple years but it is a thurs-sat event and 6 or so hours away and i havent had vacation time left over to use on it so i havent been...

Road rallying sounds cool, caught my attention when I first saw it but the whole arriving at a target time (not sooner) and obeying all laws (speed limits) seems like it would take the fun out of it. I dont know though.

I agree that it would take some of the fun, but there is still the competition factor plus they are 3-4 hour road trips. If you are interested join the SCCA and you canwork the races at LRP or NHIS or really any road course if you are interested pm me and I could show you the info packet I got and the jobs you can do. Plus you get in free to the races and get to be closer than the spectators. Most of the races are either Friday and Saturday or saturday depending on the event or track (LRP can't race on sundays)
