New Muffler on P5

this is the new carbon fiber burnt tip style muffler i bought on the forums like a couple weeks ago and last week got it installed and hanger welded. (installed and not welded because it was already welded making it an axle-back) Oh and it isnt RICE at all, none period, sounds real good and throaty.

I like it. So it just sounds throaty not buzzy? How much did you pay if you don't mind my asking?

havent taken it to the highway yet so i wouldnt know if it drones, im never on the highway anyway so it doesnt really matter to me,and i have no way of recording it either, NOt buzzy at all, real throaty, it was 50 for the muffler with axleback and like 30 for shipping, not too bad, and thanx guys

what should i use to cut out that piece of metal in the muffler??, in pic 1 you see it perfectly.

Not sure, It is holding the glass packs in tha tmake it quietish. A dremel I think would be best.

Yeah that is why the forum exists but harsh negative comments aren't exactly a good way for us to come off as a friendly Mazda community.

Personally, I like the burnt tip look because it is fun, but I wouldn't put it on my protege because it's so slow

As for the rivets.. I dunno I think they are real. The welds look nice and clean too. I think a picture from farther away so that the car can be seen too would show how it looks a lot better. I bet if I got up that close and personal to my racing beat exhaust and snapped an 8 megapixel pic it wouldn't look that great.

Well yeah I guess that comment was a bit out of line on his part but that "rice" avatar really gets people worked up. I doubt you would like it much if someone called your car rice. I know I get riled when people call my car rice.
