never heard of that, but i've heard of syncro mesh. is what you mention some sort of additive and where did you hear this info?

Its what the service rep referred to it as . It was an additive they put in the transmission . It really did help quite a bit .

all good info. i just got my 08 MS3 about a month ago, so it's good to know that things i should do first. i knew about the cai, but i didn't know about the engine mount. and i'm in jersey, so not sure about tint cuz it's illegal to tint the front windows and i heard that the rear defroster will cause tint in the rear to bubble...
