New Motor = Small build/upgrades

It is, but it can't hurt. I'm doing everything possible to eliminate oil consumption problems for this motor.

PCV oil fouling a symptom of a problem - not the cause.

x2 for stock ignition.

?Why add gages we have? puzzled.

I would add to the above - a thermoblok intake kit and at least a lightened crank pulley and flywheel.

We don't have a real oil pressure (light comes on when it is too late) and no volt gauge (because I have a pretty big audio system)

I need to find that thermoblok kit and I do have the jdm mazdaspeed flywheel, the 7lb spec/fidanza is too light for me.

RR-Racing front/rear motor mount inserts

Received all and installed inserts into motor mounts.

Going to order an Outlaw Engineering thermoblock IM spacer kit, so the IM and throttle body gaskets will be up for sale.

Sent payment for P5 injectors, then will send them to get blueprinted and cleaned

Received and sending out tomorrow to deatchwerks for Dynamic Service. Looking for a Perrin fuel Rail.

Sent payment for a brand new Perrin Fuel rail for some sexy bling in the engine bay.

Going to Powder coat the intake manifold wrinkle black to match my valve cover and exhaust mani heat shield.

Going to order all gaskets and front/rear OEM motor mounts soon.

Where are you getting the powder coating done? Hey I live in the bay and drive in the city every once in a while. I have the 7lb flywheel and have never had a problem, you get use to it very fast.

Decided to just wrinkle paint the IM myself (VHT makes wrinkle rattle can), but I did get my air diversion panel and valve cover painted by west coast powdercoating. They do good work.

Check my OP lol. It looks pretty damn close. Also my motor shot in my MOMT entry. My VC and air diversion panel are PC'ed and my heatshield is wrinkle painted.
