Bought the car (2008.5 TR MS3 Sport) new in February of 2009. Did the first round of mods within the first month I had it (35% tint, Cobb SRI, SU Rear MM, Shifter bushings, Forge BPV, spin on oil filter adapter). Been driving it this way since then (was focused on mods for the 2003 Cobra).
Two weeks ago I installed 4 of the Infinity reference 6x8 2 way speakers (6822CF) that I had bought last summer and never installed. Great improvement in sound quality and volume with the stock sport HU. Feeling inspired by that, I ordered a Casks CA3635 Touch screen DVD/NAV/BT/ETC/ETC/ETC head unit from PG. Hopefully will have it soon.
Did a spring detail on the car and decided to remove the goofy dealer installed pinstripes from the car and at the same time removed the body side mouldings. Gave her a wash, clay, and fresh wax. Looks really sweet now.
Decided I needed a couple more little mods to do on the car, so I popped for the PG TIP (powdercated black) and a race/test pipe to go on the car. Hoepfully will have those about the same time as the new HU so I can knock out all the new mods at once. Will post pics upon completion.
