take the insurance off of the speed while it's in the garage, and do vice-versa with your beater when it's nice out. That's what we do with my mom's car.

my insurance is CHEAPER with 2 cars! No kidding I go through progressive. Of course I'm sure it would be cheaper with just the beater on the insurance, but it could still be damaged or stolen even if its not being driven.

thats what I did.. It sucks not driving the speed.. I seen a blue one in inver grove going to outback steakhouse i wanted to race it with my beater looked stock, its those times that makes me want to drive my speed

It's super rice!!

My newest mod on it is a dog bed on the floor and the back seats taken out for weight reduction.

It's flys now....especially when it's really cold and doesn't shift into 4th gear.

Yeah, doing that would be nice, but unfortunately the bank requires at least storage insurance (which is still $40) since I have a loan out on it. I had to write them a letter too saying when im taking it in and out of storage.... (boom07)

Yup...I ran into the same problem. So I just kept full insurance on it just incase. I actually am driving the beast today, seemed like a decent day for a spin!

Who do you have for insurance.... That seems real spendy for just fire and theft.

I have State Farm and my Storage insurance/Comprehensive which is Fire and theft is only $18 per month. I am under 25 and have a speeding ticket or two...
