New member with 03 MSP with photos/questions...

i found out who owned the car his name was PHRiSCo the car used to have a mpi and a forged motor with cp pistons and oliver rods. Not sure if it still does. Looks like he sold the mpi and secondary injectors.

So my car has been at least double stock hp for 3+ years from when I dynoed it stock originally, which was a lousy 115whp or some garbage like that. I just recieved a replacement last week just in case.

An incredible coincidence! I was at a stop light today and just driving normally, was in 1st gear, started moving and POP! *grind*. My LSD goes. I have the protege garage tranny package going in this weekend.

stock turbo, your trunk isn't cf its orange Kevlar your hood isn't cf either it's standard Kevlar. also the water in the trunk is from the tail light sealant take the tail light out and put some silicone on the seams. oh and you have a mam fuel rail

Kevlar? Would have never thought of that. Everyone including myself always thought CF, though im not doubting you.

it common place for manufactures to offer kevlar or cf.

Awesome, Kevlar is stronger correct? Is it lighter or heavier than cf? Thanks for all the info guys. All a learning process for me and its cool to see that this car has some unique pieces on it!

What is really like its pics of where the bolts come out on the outside of the car. But if that's asking to much I understand.
 
This is where it bolts on the inside. I dont have enough time today to pull the tire and its raining pretty hard right now. If you need me to pull off the tire I can try tomorrow before work.

Ill have to see about under. I have a low profile jack with not much height to it. I dont know if ill be able to get under the car. Its supposed to rain all week here but i'll see what I can do. I dont mind trying to help members who have been a help to me! Thought i'd post another photo or two.

Thanks man! Really want to pull the motor/trans and go through what I have and clean the bay up with a wire tuck and ditch the A/C since it blows warm air anyways. Possibly look into respraying it as well.
Next on the list is get my new AEM afr wideband in, take it to the shop to get the system pressure checked for boost/vacuum leaks than hopefully put it on the dyno.
Also been contemplating powdercoating the center of the rims black to go a long with the theme and leave the lip polished. Suggestions? Opinions?
