2016 Mazda6 i Touring
Hi, my name is Tyson. I'm from the bustling metropolis </sarcasm> of Owensboro, Kentucky.

In August 2009, I traded my tired but much loved 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT1 coupe for a shiny, True Red 2008 Mazda 3 S Touring Hatchback with 12,900 miles. It was a courtesy car for a dealership in Georgia before somehow making it to me here in Kentucky. I paid a little bit more than I should have (still got an okay deal, though), but so far it's been a great and fun little car. I love it to death! I'm about to turn over 17,000 miles right now (yes, I don't drive much) and doing just fine.

The only mods I've done are red brake calipers, 18% tint, and red headlight eyebrows. Being a cash-strapped college student means low amounts of money available for mods. I bought the car with a fund started for me by my grandparents when my mom died (I was eleven at the time). This 3 kind of reminds me of my mom, because her favorite color was red, and she also bought a car from Japan even though our whole family is made up of die-hard GM supporters. Plus, my mom loved any hatchback car and any car in red.

Here's some pictures of my car, named "Max" by me and my girlfriend:

Cheers! (sun)

Welcome Tyson! You should post up in the local Kentucky section for any meets or get togethers that may be happening.

The high temperature today is 19! Anyway, the 3 starts right up everytime. It helps that it gets to nestle in the garage next to my grandmother's Cadillac, though.

hello and welcome... yes keep up with out OAC section and kentucky section, we are always tryin to meet up places and do things, we have a range of different model mazda owners if you run into any problems or questions. and yes that red mazdas sport is off da chain loL!
