Hi, my name is Tyson. I'm from the bustling metropolis </sarcasm> of Owensboro, Kentucky.
In August 2009, I traded my tired but much loved 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT1 coupe for a shiny, True Red 2008 Mazda 3 S Touring Hatchback with 12,900 miles. It was a courtesy car for a dealership in Georgia before somehow making it to me here in Kentucky. I paid a little bit more than I should have (still got an okay deal, though), but so far it's been a great and fun little car. I love it to death! I'm about to turn over 17,000 miles right now (yes, I don't drive much) and doing just fine.
The only mods I've done are red brake calipers, 18% tint, and red headlight eyebrows. Being a cash-strapped college student means low amounts of money available for mods. I bought the car with a fund started for me by my grandparents when my mom died (I was eleven at the time). This 3 kind of reminds me of my mom, because her favorite color was red, and she also bought a car from Japan even though our whole family is made up of die-hard GM supporters. Plus, my mom loved any hatchback car and any car in red.
Here's some pictures of my car, named "Max" by me and my girlfriend:

Cheers! (sun)
