New member (2017 Mazda3 GT Hatchback)

Hello everyone. I am the proud owner of a 2017 Mazda3 GT Hatchback. It’s a fun car that holds my two large dogs well. As most of my cars have been, it is a manual. I don’t know what the feature is called, but the fact that the car doesn’t automatically start rolling when you let off the break is amazing. Nothing more annoying than stopping a manual on even a slight incline. I installed the CP/AA upgrade myself, but it is otherwise stock. I made he last payment on it earlier this year, which was a great feeling.
Hi and welcome, @TruBrew! Great intro and congrats on it being all yours now...Considering any upgrades and or accessories in the future? Also, it would be great to see pics of your Mazda3 if possible...:)
Thanks for the welcome.

No exciting mods planned. I don’t drive fast and am happy enough with the performance (the reason I bought it). Some aesthetic upgrades would be fun but unfortunately I don’t have the money for nonfunctional upgrades. I’d like to add the auto dimming rear view mirror with homelink at some point but I’m still trying to figure out if it’s a job I can manage on my own. I was looking at ways to set up wireless CarPlay and qi charging, but that doesn’t seem like it’s worth the trouble for a number of reasons.

Here are a few pictures, probably from the day I bought it.

That looks nice - great color @TruBrew. How many miles on it? Picked up my 2016 last year, really enjoying it.

I still have my 2014 3 after almost 9 years. It has less than 35,000 miles on it an has been perfect except for one incidence when I left the car, uncovered in mid-Summer sun for hours. Upon startup, the infotainment screen didn't turn on until I restarted the engine. Now I have a windshield cover that keeps the dash much cooler when the hot Summer sun is shining.
